This error pops up on attempt to run gicops on a peptide database and ms2 dataset. Will probe further for cause of the error.

Looks like the mentioned line:
https://github.com/pcdslab/gicops/blob/42ffab2873e3fbaa7c6158a57399f014044e0a8a/source/core/cuda/superstep1/kernel.cu#L126 simply copies variable mods masses to gpu symbol which only depends on the —mods argument agnostic to input database and dataset used.
