I have tested OPNSense 22.1 on fw 4.15.0.2, so far 20 hours of time and no errors. Also the reporter posted some details in https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=26661.0 , suggesting that the problem may have been hardware related after all:
After a long(er) period with the older coreboot version I just got the same error again. I have ordered a new mSATA SSD.
