this is more of a heads-up .. not an issue with the script...

in ESXi 6.5 you cannot connect directly to your ESXi host - you MUST connect to the vCenter server - seems they have disabled some API functionality on direct ESXi host connections... (you get an 'operation not supported' error if you go direct).

great script !!!

@miramar-labs thank you for reporting this, i'll look into either fixing it, or documenting this. I would be surprised if cloning was no longer allowed on ESXi 6.5 (i haven't tried this, as i always use vCenter ;)).
