  1. go to http://acm.pdx.edu/misc/history.php
  2. expect website
  3. receive null

Tested with wget, chrome, firefox, on yosemite

I'm not sure I'm getting a 200. How do i tell what html status code i'm getting from a request?

Ok, i figured out telnet and got a 200, so yeah. Is there a way to tell the http status without using telnet?

The next step would be to trace that file and see why the response is empty
