If you have a remote config source specified in /etc/perfsonar/psconfig/pscheduler-agent.json, and you get rid of it by removing the whole file, psConfig is very unhappy. The file seemingly need to exist even though it contains an empty json structure. Perhaps psConfig should recreate this file (with that empty structure) if it is missing, or simply interpret a missing file as no-remote-sources-specified.
