Hi Peter,
First of all: many thanks, nice work!

I seem to have installed everything correctly with all latest from today (HACS and your gist). However, the PostNL card shows packages which i've send back in January. Apparently they are in my delivery list and do not have a delivery date (perhaps a postNL quirk). In the custom card, they show up as 'delivery date: unknown' (hence they are in the list?)

I cant seem to delete them from my PostNL account... Could you be able to filter these packages out?

cheers!

Hi Joep! Thanks for the report. You should be able to delete them from your app I believe. Else from the website. Maybe in delivery rather then in received?

I'll take a look if I can do something about it in the card. If I have a date of when it was send, then I can perhaps mark it as delivered / remove it after 14 days.

I have the same problem. The one in my screenshot from Ziggo for example has been there for a few months already. I tried removing it from the PostNL app and that seemed to work for now... Although in general, I don’t removing anything from the app ever.

@joep2000 and @Veldkornet I actually had the exact same thing yesterday when I started to use this custom component. At first it didn't show up in the list on the PostNL website even though it was showing up in Home Assistant.

I was able to remove it by following these steps:

  • Click on the delivery / distribution in Home Assistant. It will open the PostNL website, sign in if you haven't. It will take you to the detail page of the delivery / distribution.
  • Change the name of the delivery / distribution.
  • For me, at this point, it showed up in the list on the PostNL website.
  • Remove it.

Not sure whether its going to work for you as well, but taking these steps I was able to remove it from the list on the PostNL website. I just checked in Home Assistant and the component has updated since then and the distribution (in my case) isn't showing up anymore.
