Submenue in menue

Hey, awesome theme. I am using it for a freshly constituted NGO to support our local community.
I tried to create a submenue within the theme using the config.toml. But that kind of failed.

Has someone a working example of a submenue within the menue? A dropdown once you click.

As written in the README and just like its "parent" theme mainroad, the theme does not support submenus. However, I am open for pull requests.

However, I would like to avoid a dependency on heavy JS libraries like jquery. We have a menu.js file that can be extended though if necessary, or even better a pure CSS solution.

Hi, I am also interested in the submenus as demonstrated here https://hugo-dpsg.pages.dev in "About Hugo" menu.

Is the pull request from emhl already merged? I don't really get it. However, submenus are not rendered in my clone of your repo so far.
