Is the Reference Note displayed anywhere after the file is retrieved by the recipient?

I looked into the admin dashboard and don't see it associated with the pushes even when using Edit. As it is there's no easily identifiable information regarding what was pushed. I'd like to be able to use this feature (or some other field if it exists) as a way to identify something long the lines of "customer name", "projet id", "document type" etc.

With logins, you get a user dashboard that shows the reference note:

Without user logins, the only other way to see the note is via the JSON API.

I wasn't able to verify yet but assumed it would be displayed in Active Pushes. Now I see they are in Expired pushes too. Is the unencrypted value only available to the user who originated it? Is that why it can't be seen in admin? (we do have user logins)

Yes. When logged in or authenticated through the API, the reference note is always available. Even after expiration. Some use this for support ticket numbers, employee IDs etc..

The philosophy of pwpush is that all access to the sensitive payload (even after expiration) is tracked and available in the Audit log. Exposing user data in the admin portal would subvert that.

So /admin is used for administration but not for accessing sensitive push data.
