This issue has not been encountered in quite some time. I have confirmed with some daily users that they have not encountered it either. My guess is that overall stability improvements to IRIDA have solved this. Closing.

api_calls._get_link
on lineresources_list = responce.json()["resource"]["resources"]

Unknown, possible timeout?

Add a try/except block to log what the error is, s.t. we can find the root cause.
