Is there a download that cooperates with a package manager?

I already have package managers, and am quite reluctant to run install scripts regardless of whom they are from. Is there any release that works with, rather than against, existing tools, conventions, etc?

@kjcole, I think right now this is the only way: https://docs.phcode.dev/docs/Linux . I know this doesn't align with what you want, but I am not sure if there's any package manager way to do the same.

Is tracking flatpacks/appimage distribution. The pure native app needs dependencies, and we dont want to manage our own ppas as that is same as trusting a script. Eventually, need to add this to one of the os package repositories.
