Describe the bug
The feature of:

]], [[ Follow the link labeled 'next' or '>' ('previous' or '<')

seems to not be working on google results pages any more.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to google
  2. search for something
  3. press ]] when on a results page
  4. It will not go to the next page of results.

Browser and Vimium version

  • Microsoft Edge Version 134.0.3124.68 (Official build) (64-bit)
    • Extension version 2.1.2
  • Also Firefox version 136.0.1 (64-bit)
    • Extension Version 2.1.2

It seems to not work in Firefox intermittently, but in Microsoft edge its pretty consistently not working. I don't think its an issue with the extension per se as when I use ]] on https://news.ycombinator.com/ it works fine, so perhaps google change something on the results page html?

I should mention that the [[ to go to the previous page still seems to be working fine.

I also checked with a live linux usb stick and just installed only vimium in firefox and I still encountered the bug, so I don't think its an issue on my system.
