Arrival traffic auto correlate / TAG with no callsign (arrival) when controlling alone

Hi! As u know that if only GND controller online, when the traffic comes to the arrival dest, the tag will be not auto correlate. I found that it was really hard for controller who have to control alone to take the tag (without their callsign). Honestly with me it is quite wierd for controller to assign squawk on arriving aircraft. Any chances on update the new function for arriving traffic? If yes..... that would be great! :)
