Please do not use a pop-up for updates

Ideally, updating automatically in the background would be an option, but I don't know if that can be done here.

How it works now, where a pop-up appears and disrupts my attention, is not good.

(I interacted with it immediately upon appearing, so I did not get a chance to see if it is also stealing window focus, but if it is stealing window focus, that is a much bigger problem than it appearing.)
