Not saving settings

When I go to settings and uncheck "Check this if you want the plugin to stop including its own CSS file. This assumes you want more control over the galleries styling and you will add it somewhere else (like in the theme)." and click save, it shows as checked when the page reloads.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Will there be some fix at any time? I'd really enjoy using Pixproof, but in this state...
