Tab with "platformio.ini" is opened whenever the file changes

I have a very annoying bug that whenever the platformio.ini file is changed, its tab is opened in IDE and brought to foreground, even if that file was not opened.
This happens, for example, every time I switch git branches, do git stash/pop.

It also opens automatically when I launch VSCode, and since it's delayed a little bit, I start working in another tab, and than bang! a new tab is opened and takes input.
