plone/meta is a swiss army knife tool, that not only allows to configure repositories, but also helps doing massive renaming/refactoring of repositories.

One such case would be to move all repositories to use a src/ layout.

The prevent accidental usage of the in-development copy of the code. can be useful when running tests, etc
