@pbauer or @ksuess would know for sure, but I think that the Mastering Plone 6 was used. However it started life as an exact copy of Mastering Plone 5, then modified over the years. Within the last few months, the installation method with mxdev and cookiecutter was added to the Plone 6 Documentation. I don't think all of that made it over to the Mastering Plone 6 Training.
We agreed that for all Trainings, Plone 6 Documentation would be the authoritative source of information, and we would refer to it with links and seealso admonitions, instead of duplicating its information or deviating from it. A PR to remedy the situation would be most welcome!
Hi, we have a new intern that is trying to follow Mastering Plone training but we've found something confusing ;)
In setup section there are instructions to use the new cookiecutter/pip way to install Plone.
But in add-ons section and where user needs to write its own package there are only infos about how to add e new dependency with buildout and not with pip.
Probably for pip there should be some extra infos for mxdev.
Another question: what was the used training doc? Maybe the 5 version?
