Windows disappear when making a screenshot with gimp #4

Steps to reproduce:

Open an sge example (or an awl window)
Launch gimp, select File -> Create -> Screenshot
Select "Take a screenshot of the entire screen" (disable "Include mouse pointer")
Click "Snap"
The sge/awl window disappears. It reappears when switching to another desktop and then switching back.
