"invalid sector size 65535" TinyCore doesn't boot after GRUB if another USB disk is connected #362
Comments
I seem to have missed the memo that if I happen to have another USB disk plugged into the system, then this happens; I was going nuts for like an hour until I unplugged an external HDD that I permanently connected to the system since last time. Not sure if there is something that can be done about this - imagine not being able to boot the OS while a 2nd external USB disk is connected, that'd be crazy. |
i hav more than one usbkey and haven't this problem, maybe you don't start on the first partition but 2nd or the number 3 ? |
No clue, just know that it wouldn't boot until I disconnected the additionall USB drive. This was only a problem before building the bootloader, afterwards it boots fine with both USB drives connected. |
are you in legacy or uefi ? |
UEFI |
