Track new users on Slack and send them a quick getting started guide, especially if they join and are silent for 5 minutes or more. "Hey there, I noticed you joined our Slack but haven't said anything. Please feel free to ask any questions in our #support channel. Don't be shy!"
If someone posts and they don't see anyone else post from a list of 'support agents' start a threaded reply to let them know our support policy and hours and that we haven't forgot them.
