if you change the object, example
item.damage_poison_mod := value;
magacliloc is not updating

if you change it through the command ".info/.iteminfo" magacliloc will be updated

I may be missing the mark since I haven't scripted POL in about 11 or 12 years but I believe it's because .info/.iteminfo calls IncRevision(item) from PolSys.em
