Pasting clipboard firefox -> vscode is slow #1136

When trying to copy some text from a github file in firefox (for example, https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-comp/blob/master/src/main.rs) to vscode, vscode will freeze for one second, and the text will be pasted.

This is not present in Gnome
I'm not using a clipboard manager, but i have DATA_CONTROL enabled
