Philips Android TV's remote action menu not working

Expected Behaviour

Work as expected. Stream content. TV remote working (action menu - play, pause, forward).

Actual Behaviour

When content streaming starts, action menu is shown in the bottom (play, pause, forward etc). After few seconds it disappears (goes away) and now there is no possibility to bring it back. Non of the Philips TV remotes buttons bring it back. So no play/pause/forward possibility. To stop the playing content is to end/exit it (go to the main screen).

Central circle buttons are not working as expected.
With PopcornTime v3.6.10 for android TV, it's working well.
Tried different change video players from the preferences of PopcornTime app. All the same, no possibility to interact with content.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

1. Start some content streaming.
2. Try all remote buttons to get the action menu to be shown (or react in some other way), to pause/forward/play.
