Flatland v3.6-beta.8
This release supports the fog tag in 3D acceleration mode. It does not currently pay attention to the fog style, however: the only style available right now is "linear".
Flatland v3.6-beta.7
This release is a major revision to Flatland to make it work under DirectX 11 rather than DirectX 8. As such, it should be treated as a true beta, meaning there is a higher possibility of experiencing issues with this version that didn't exist in the previous version. One known issue is that fog effects have not being implemented. This version is also not optimized for speed under DirectX 11 yet, so you may find it runs a bit slower.
Flatland v3.6-beta.5
This beta version fixes problems with scripting.
Flatland v3.6-beta.4
Flatland v3.6-beta.4 improves support for textures up to 1024x1024 pixels in size. They now render correctly in both 3D accelerated AND non-3D accelerated modes.
Flatland v3.6-beta.3
The beta.3 release fixes an issue that might prevent you from loading spots by double-clicking on them on your hard drive (assuming you've associated Flatland.exe with those files). It also re-enables support for textures larger than 256x256 pixels.
Flatland v3.6-beta.2
This is the second beta release. It uses static runtime libraries, which may make it compatible with more versions of Windows. It also supports launching from the command line with the name of the spot file you want to load.
Flatland v3.6-beta.1
This is the first beta release of Flatland v3.6, a standalone Windows application that is compatible with the last release of the Flatland Rover, v3.5.
