'removeDefaultStemmer' not work

Great thanks for your product. But I met a question: For a word like 'book', I found if I type 'ook', then this word will not be searchable. It only works when I type 'bo' which means containing first character 'b'. I have already set 'removeDefaultStemmer:true'. I wonder if this parameter is targeted for this functionality. Could you give me some guides? Thanks a lot.
