We currently maintain two different 'stats' plugins -- this plugin and a newer one: https://github.com/pressbooks/pressbooks-network-analytics. This pressbooks-stats plugin is no longer being actively developed, but has some good ideas.

  • Review @richard015ar previous research on what this plugin contains and how the information it generates is stored: https://github.com/pressbooks/private/issues/423#issuecomment-780245071
  • Identify the most useful data elements/visualizations and add these to the pressbooks-network-analytics plugin so that network managers on EDU networks no longer see two separate 'stats' related items in the dashboard

Notes

When this plugin is active, a 'PB Stats' link appears in the network admin dashboard. When clicked, it displays the following page with tables/graphs:
