Some prefer the JavaScript, CSS, HTML and preview panels to be laid out where the preview is vertically split with the remaining are stacked (the layout of the first implementation), some prefer the split to be horizontal like Codepen and some four equal squares like JSFiddle. Additionally, a preview/demo mode like Codepen would be handy.

User selectable layouts would be a nice feature.
