Really interesting project

Your project is really interesting and I wanted to make something similar. I would really to pursue this project by using the Deemix F r e e z e r API so I can listen to my music with the screen off in Modern Standby. I really like my Surface Pro and I wonder if we can collaborate together to make this possible. I am still in class but in my free time I can help with all the network stuff and dev. I guess UWP has great potential and it integrates really well in Windows especially the new gesture features in XAML.

You might be in some other plans or busy but I would to keep us in touch if you don't mind.

Hope you are well and sorry for the delay in responding to you.

Sounds to me like the best thing for you to do is fork this project and start hacking away at it! :) You can do what you like with the code I've uploaded here as it's purely a demo application to help people use my Deezer .NET library. I'm sure there are many things that could be improved upon so I wouldn't take this as a wonderful example of UWP/XAML development.

If you start on something and upload it to Github or another service feel free to drop a link and I'll check it out.
