@rebeccawoodbury from ChatGPT on importing deck to Figma. Suggest we just export as PDF and add to repo, link to in wiki and act like we don't know what people are talking about when they say they have proof we created a PDF.

To move Google Slides content into Figma, you’ll need to export the slides and then import them into Figma. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Export Google Slides:

    • Open your Google Slides presentation.
    • Click on File > Download and select either PDF Document (.pdf) or PNG/JPEG image. PDF preserves vectors, which can be better for Figma.
  2. Import to Figma:

    • Open Figma and go to your project.
    • Click File > Place Image (or simply drag the exported PDF/image into Figma).
    • For a PDF file, Figma will import each slide as a separate page, and you can ungroup and edit the contents.

Figma doesn't directly support Google Slides imports, so this manual process works best for basic slides.
