Yes, but having this in the OPL would be really good

I also seeing it as a good feature, when you use OPL as your main app.

Many modchips have the problem, that the PS2 not writing anymore to the history to the memory card.
But with OPL and images it does.
I hope that this can also be applied, when it's able to boot PS2 discs.
I would also wish that PS2 games on CD can be read with a slower rate.
Because on slim consoles, in my opinion they're really loud.
