Describe the issue

Hello, I have tried to improve PAL games using the PAL60 mode (where it is supposed to go to 60Hz) but unfortunately they do not work correctly where in all the games I could test the image is distorted and/or enlarged too much (unplayable) and it cannot be corrected in any way, neither does Y-fix or x-fix work.

Console model

SCPH-9006

OPL version / revision

OPNPS2LD-v1.2.0-Beta-2194

In which device(s) have you experienced this issue?

Context and extra information

multiple games tested, from God of war I - II PAL to mortal kombat PAL on Full HD TV with component cable.

Hello @ALLDINL

Do you use any unlock chip (Modchip)?
Like Matrix or MODBO 5?
If yes, just disable the "PS2 SCREEN FIX" option in the chip settings menu.

From what I remember God of War I & II (PAL) will not launch any FMVs even with 480i 60Hz.
In other words changing refresh rate from 50Hz to 60Hz cause these games to crash especially in FMVs.

There was no mortal kombat PAL for PS2.
