That's confusing. Don't we want to calibrate the IMU before we even get to the tower? I don't want to flip the whole damn rocket around, just the avionics stack.

I was pretty happy with what we actually did. Of course we don't want to wait to get out to the tower for calibration, but we do want as much of the airframe buttoned up as we can reasonably handle, in case there are magnetic effects somewhere in the rocket that are large enough to matter.
