Design notes

Authentication

The sessions API of the QPS (Qlik Proxy Service) is only available using certificate authentication, using port 4243 (default value).
JWT auth is not supported.

Virtual proxies

• If a virtual proxy is specified via the --virtual-proxy parameter, get sessions for that virtual proxy
• If no virtual proxy is specified, get sessions for all virtual proxies

Parameters

• --log-level:

• --qrs-port: Default 4242
• --qps-port: Default 4243
• --virtual-proxy: Which virtual proxy should be used to query sessions?
• --sessions-virtual-proxy: Which virtual proxies (zero or more) should sessions be retrieved for? If no VP specified, sessions for ALL VPs will be retrieved.
• --auth-type: Only allowed value is cert.
• --auth-user-dir:
• --auth-user-id:
• --auth-cert-file:
• --auth-cert-key-file:
• --auth-root-cert-file:
• --output-format: json or table . Default json
