I recently bought a couple of BTH01 for very cheap, and as you mentioned, they are not worth buying it.

I had the idea to replace the sensor on those boards with a "Bosch" BME280, as they would work with way lower voltages (1.7V I2C and theoretically down to 1.2V VDD), and have a great precision, plus even supplying barometric pressure. Mechanically it should be fairly easy to do, as one could just de-solder the crappy CHT8305 and use SDA/SCL/VDD testpoints to connect the new BME280.

I could give it a shot to try to implement this by myself, but i would need some directions, as im not familiar with your code, and a fairly newbie embedded developer.

BTW: can one "donate" you something somehow, as im using your work and im very very very happy with it?
