Hello,
I have an experiment that degrades a battery cell. After simulating it, I want to run another experiment starting with the degraded conditions from the previous experiment but with a specific SoC, which may not necessarily match the final SoC of the first experiment. I have tried several approaches, but none of them work as expected (e.g., the second simulation always starts with the final voltage of the first one regardless of the initial SoC set).
Here are the approaches I've attempted:
sim.solve(initial_soc=initial_soc, starting_solution=sol_deg)
model.set_initial_conditions_from(sol_deg, inplace=True)
sim.solve(initial_soc=initial_soc)
parameter_values=parameter_values.set_initial_stoichiometries(initial_soc)
sim = pybamm.Simulation(model, experiment=experiment,parameter_values=parameter_values)
sim.solve(starting_solution=sol_deg)
model.set_initial_conditions_from(sol_deg, inplace=True)
parameter_values=parameter_values.set_initial_stoichiometries(initial_soc)
sim = pybamm.Simulation(model, experiment=experiment,parameter_values=parameter_values)
sim.solve()
I don't know if what I want isn't possible or if I'm not implementing it correctly. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
