Following the instructions leads to this in the go get step:

Also you really should release a new build since the "current" is over a year old

Hi @FlyinPancake
Thanks for posting.
You must build without module for now.
We are in the process of migrating the whole cells repository to modules, looking good so far. From there we will modulify cells-sync as well.

Can you provide some instructions like commands and etc that I have to run?

I'm kind of new to go

If you are new to go, do you really need to recompile? Why not grabbing pre-built binaries ?

I'm running Cells V3.0.1 and using the linux client 0.9.2 and I get all sorts of errors

So running the binary and reading the logs got me somewhere:

2021-11-27T13:07:05.647+0100	ERROR	systray	CONSOLE JS ERROR XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://storage.example.com/oidc/.well-known/openid-configuration due to access control checks.

The thing is going to that URL gives me a 404 error.
