PyMuPDF-1.25.0 released

PyMuPDF-1.25.0 has been released.

Wheels for Windows, Linux and MacOS, and the sdist, are available on pypi.org and can be installed in the usual way, for example:

python -m pip install --upgrade pymupdf

[Linux-aarch64 wheels will be built and uploaded later.]

Changes in version 1.25.0 (2024-12-05)

• Use MuPDF-1.25.1.

• Fixed issues:

  • Fixed page.get_text('blocks') output two piece of very similar text with different bbox #4026
  • Fixed Segmentation Fault When Updating PDF Form Field Value #4004
  • Fixed apply_redactions causes part of the page content to be hidden / transparent #3751
