Can you please explain what exactly didn't work when you switched the installer to UV? |

I'm planning to upgrade a project's default Python version and installer from
pip
touv
, however, I can't get these changes synced to the environment like dependency changes do.The hope is that I can perform this upgrade by updating the
pyproject.toml
file and all my teammates will have their environments updated, without me having to instruct them all to re-create their environments with something likehatch env remove && hatch env create
.I have tried entering the environment with
hatch -e myenv shell
, running python scripts in the environment viahatch run myscript
, and updating the dependencies. None of these activities result in the changedpython
anduv
parameters being recognized. Is there a way to get hatch to update the environment without having all my teammates manually re-create their envs?
