Advanced testing of wildcard options

Describe the feature you'd like to see

Currently, we have a number of advanced wildcards, in particular {opts} one.

They are very convenient to modify the model without the need to re-run the whole workflow. However, some of these options have been implemented quite a while ago and may need some testing and fixes. It would be great to test these wildcard options and add improvements and adjustments, if needed.

A list of these rarely-used options may looks like that:

• Ep
• CCL
• EQ
• BAU
• SAFE
• carrier+{c|p|m}factor
• CH4L
