I'm thinking the develop branch can be configured to have docs built automatically. Maybe on CircleCI? I opt for CircleCI since all it is doing right now is sending me three emails when it fails :-)

Just a fun note. We are hosting doxygen built docs on our gh-pages branch. The web version is visible here: http://wateranalytics.org/Stormwater-Management-Model/index.html

This is auto setup to build for LaTeX if desired. Docs look like this:
