THIS PROJECT IS OPEN FOR MAINTAINERS

Development on the python-social-auth projects has been stagnated for a while, #445 was open a long time ago to discuss this matter and a plan (failed) was presented to fix the situation. For that reason, I'm opening the organization to new maintainers that will have the proper permissions to unstuck development.

Those willing to join, contact us here and please us me know what motivates you to join in such a role.

Hi @nijel @omab I have been a long time user of python-social-auth for over 10 years, with several production apps having significant numbers of users, and would like to see this project thrive, or find a path for smooth and seamless consolidation with possible emerging solutions.

@jontsai Any contribution is welcome! There are many issues that need triage, pull requests waiting for review and so on.
