There does not seem to be any provision through the admin interface to "undo" changes or to view the content (or diffs) of previous changes to Pages. That makes making updates perilous, especially with so many people making changes at the moment. The "History" entry is useful to see that changes were made (through the admin interface) and by whom but doesn't give any information on exactly what was changed. This is a big step backwards from the legacy website where change history was captured in the svn repo.

I'd like to stress this point. Offline editing with full history were one of the strengths of the old website, and probably one of the most requested features for the new during the "opaque feedback collection" process.

maybe we can use something like https://github.com/etianen/django-reversion ?

That looks promising for the revision history, especially if the diff interface is included so that diffs can also be displayed.

I think this would help me as I start making changes having to do with the Python 2 sunsetting.
