Theme not changed while clicking on the moon

When attempting to switch to the dark theme by clicking on the moon icon in the top navigation bar, the theme fails to transition from the current light theme to the desired dark theme. This issue impacts the user experience and accessibility, as users are unable to utilize the preferred visual mode effectively.

Expected Behavior:
Upon clicking the moon icon, the application should smoothly transition from the current light theme to the dark theme, providing users with a visually comfortable and energy-efficient alternative.
