Speed Throttling and Fluctuations

qBittorrent version and Operating System

qBittorrent v4.3.4.1, Windows 10 20H2

If on linux, libtorrent-rasterbar and Qt version

What is the problem

Got a 150mbps internet connection, and a really healthy torrent, download speed on my qB v4.3.4.1 are very low and fluctuating: min- 2.5mBps
max- 5.2mBps ; these are on ethernet
It never stays above 5 mBps for more than 3 seconds, i tried downloading same torrent with other torrent client on android, the speeds exceeded qBittorrent's max and min with 12mBps of min and maxing out at 16mBps
I tired a lot of other torrents with high number of seeds and high potential download speeds but no luck getting that speed with qBittorrent

What is the expected behavior

qB should at least give out speeds ranging from 10-13 mBps for the connection with a good torrent as it did before

I've got 4GB ram with a dual core amd processor, is my system doing this? Actually qBittorrents downloads were fine before (i think even in v4.3.4.1) but the speeds suddenly dropped, without me doing anything to any settings. I tried a complete reinstall too, but no luck with that too. How should I fix this problem of speed throttling with high fluctuations

Converted to discussion as this is most likely an issue on your end. Here, other users may help you getting your setup working correctly. If you do uncover an actual bug in the troubleshooting process, please submit a new issue report (one may be created for you also).

I can't reproduce these performance issues even with much worse machines than the one you mention.

Also, to reduce the number of variables and uncertainty, please test always with the same known-good torrent that is universally accepted as a benchmark, such as the latest Ubuntu LTS torrent: https://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04/ubuntu-20.04.2.0-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent

Got fixed in latest update, I was not able to check ubuntu torrent with previous version. The torrents are fast (holy smokes real fast). Anyway thanks for the reply and big thanks for a benchmark torrent. I'll make sure to use it next time any issue happens
