not an answer but corroboration of the issue (specifically with a private tracker, i have not tested it w/ anything else). I have had the same thing happen for probably the last week or so. The site also recently BANNED the 4.x clients due to the fact that they double reported completed statistics (and have been for as far back as 2 years ago, although as of Jan of this year it appears to do it with EVERY completed download that I have... causing statistics nightmare.... is your issue with a private tracker or public or both? |

Mine was for public. After getting a hold of my VPN customer service, they
told me that I shouldn't have to try to connect qbit to the VPN, and
everything should work automatically. Downloading works now- lets see if it
becomes an issue in the future.

As the title suggests, I'm having issues downloading any torrents without them being listed as STALLED. I think this might be due to something with PIA- I set up the VPN settings similar to here:
https://vpnpro.com/torrenting/private-internet-access-for-torrents/
I also set the port used for incoming connections to the port provided by PIA. In PIA, I had some original settings- let me know if there are any critical ones I should check.
Under 'Trackers' in qBit, there's a note under one of the trackers that mentions "SOCKS Authentication Error" (as a Message). I'm guessing that qbittorrent cannot login?
I've used this successfully in the past, with the existing PIA settings installed. I'm not sure what the change was that spawned this. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the program and re-insert the VPN settings. No dice.
