Overall yes, but I would like there to be more color variation for torrent statuses by default (e.g. black for finished, blue for uploading, instead of light blue and less light blue).

Overall yes, but I would like there to be more color variation for torrent statuses by default (e.g. black for finished, blue for uploading, instead of light blue and less light blue).

The default theme needs a bunch of tweaks:

1. needs a dark and light mode instead of just being 1 theme
2. uses too many solid blue icons instead of giving them plenty of color variance
3. Torrent list colors could be more intuitively selected (torrents should only be blue when they are actively seeding data, etc)

If somebody does a PR to do these 3 things it would be much better.

I just made the most basic poll I could. The wording shouldn't be any more complex than that.

In 4.6.0 everyone can tweak the default theme in Settings -> Behavior -> Customize UI Theme...
So anyone can post screenshots of their tweaked theme (not in this poll) and if some change is liked by a lot of people, maybe it can be adopted as default.

I don't like the new theme because it is too saturated. A bit too much.
The old style is more conservative and fits the existing UI elements better. I get this kind of "simplistic yet efficient" feeling towards the old UI.

If anything, I would say the old style was too muted. The old buttons didn't "pop" enough. I can see why people would think the new theme is too bright though, so I would welcome something in between. I think the new theme can be "tweaked" in a way that will make most people like it instead of having to make a completely new theme.

No, i don't. I have been using qBitTorrent Fluent Theme since 4.5.0 on Windows 11
