I have a handful of mods repos/locally developed ones that i need to symlink every time i update, it would be nice if the program kept track of symlinks and recreated them after updating

Think about it. Why have links been available in the NTFS system for a long time and at the same time, Microsoft does its best to prevent users from using the links. It's not just like that. Right?
