I am using "Dark Modern" theme. The syntax highlighting is as it should be in r chunks in source mode .qmd files. However, in Visual Editor mode, the syntax highlighting is incorrect and almost everything is just blue. It's not just this theme - the syntax highlighting is different (and almost useless) in most themes. Solarized seems to be slightly better with a few more distinct colors, but still not identical to how it renders in regular R files or in source mode. In Rstudio source mode and visual mode render the same and I would expect this to be true for VS code as well.
