elementary apps needs a redesign

Hey, this design idea looks quite nice.
I like some sleek design with good typography.

In my opinion it can be better to focus more on the app.
So maybe you can relocate the screenshot + description to the left side with 2/3 of the width and more "aside stuff" like links, authors (maybe update status or so in the future) on the right side.
These changes are only requested, because the typical reading direction is from top-left to bottom-right. So the focus content should follow this. But this is not true for the whole world and only my opinion ;)

Furthermore, the install-button is a very nice idea. This should be in the focus and and above the manual installation part. But only if it works.

Hey, Is this project still active? There has not been a single commit in the past 1 year. I totally understand if you guys are busy. If this project is still alive, I am ready to start working on the new site for elementary apps. Ping me if that is fine with the team!

Not quite a year, the last commit was in March 😉. But you are right, life happened and development pretty much stalled... I still have some local stuff which I want to publish first, but then I would really appreciate some help.
