General thoughts, in order of importance of the feature:

Maturity: The most stable release that is available for the current version (atm Freya), 5 simple levels:
- stable
- beta
- alpha
- devel
- wishlist
Status: Activity of the project, should include both pace and last acivity, three levels. How to measure objectively?
Versions: Show a list of stable or semi-stable releases together with date
Updates: Make a post when a new stable version is released (how to keep up?)
